Biography
I am an Associate Professor at The University of Melbourne, Australia, where I serve as the director of the Distributed Systems and Network Applications (DisNet) Laboratory. I received my PhD from the University of Melbourne in 2015 and have since published over 70 peer-reviewed publications in top-tier venues, such as IEEE Transactions on Cloud Computing, IEEE Transactions on Services Computing, IEEE Transactions on Sustainable Computing and IEEE Transactions on Parallel and Distributed Systems. My publications have received over 4,000 citations, with a current h-index of 30.
My contributions extend beyond citations and publications. I have advanced the foundations of cloud computing and contributed to the development of several novel tools and technologies, including CloudSim, InterCloud, SipaaS, Clouds-Pi, Con-Pi, WattEdge, and AutoScaleSim.
I have won several prestigious awards and honours, including the AusPDC'21 and the Best Paper Candidate in ICSOC'21. I have secured funding for numerous projects totalling over $1.4M. I served on the editorial board of Future Generation Computer Systems (FGCS) and guest-edited several Special Issues. I have also organized several workshops in his field, including Starless in PerCom 2022 and 2023.
